Meet Justin March – Your Expert SEO Strategist in Stroud
After senior roles in digital marketing, web design and SEO, I founded Stroud Valley SEO to give local SMEs the level of expertise normally reserved for agencies and corporates. I’m hands-on with strategy, design and development, so your site loads fast, reads clearly and converts. Everything is built around measurable outcomes: enquiries, bookings and long-term visibility. My expertise stems from my experiences:
Marketing Director at WaterCoolers Direct.com Ltd
I was a founding shareholder and Marketing Director at WaterCoolersDirect.com Ltd / Quench Water Systems Ltd, responsible for digital marketing and e-commerce from launch. I planned and set up the watercoolersdirect.com, waterboilersdirect.com and tradecoolersdirect.com websites, helping grow a specialist UK drinking-water group (now The WCD Group) into a small but multi-million-pound SME with nationwide customers. Quench Water Systems was later acquired and integrated into Danone’s Eden Springs group of water-cooler companies.
Web Designer & SEO at Snap Surveys Ltd
I joined Snap Surveys (formerly Mercator Computer Systems), an independent survey-software company founded in 1982 that serves enterprise, public-sector and research clients in the UK and overseas. Working as a designer/developer, I helped refresh the corporate identity, maintain brand integrity and improve the main marketing site. That work included on-site SEO and content structure changes that strengthened visibility for key product and solutions pages.
Founder of CoolNameIdeas.com
Alongside client work I founded CoolNameIdeas.com, a business-name generator that grew to a six-figure monthly organic audience over several years. Scaling that project taught me a huge amount about technical SEO, UX, copy, and monetisation at volume. I sold the site in 2018 and now apply those playbooks to local SMEs who want sustainable organic growth, not quick wins that fade.
Higher Education & Expertise
I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Graphic/Design and went on to study UX and UI as part of a Master’s in Visual Communication (Interactive Multimedia) at the University of Central England, Birmingham. That blend of design, usability, and interaction underpins the way I plan and build websites today. Every layout decision has a user and a business goal behind it.

Stroud Valley Windows Ltd
Helping a top-rated installer get found online.
Without an online presence, Wayne Bradley struggled to stand out in Stroud’s local market despite his 20-year reputation. A smart rebrand, a new website focused on conversions, and a strong local SEO campaign transformed his visibility. The result: a steady stream of quality leads, from a few per month to several every single day.
Premier Mezzanines Ltd
Launching a successful B2B brand from day one.
How do you make a new B2B brand an instant authority? I launched this startup’s first website, created audience-relevant content like an online calculator, and started a PPC campaign for industry buyers. SEO raised rankings, while PPC generated leads quickly. Within weeks, they topped searches and received a steady stream of enquiries.
